The children created beautiful books for Ms. Rena to wish her well during her recovery. Many of the children in grades 1-5 had Ms. Rena as a teacher in Kindergarten, so this was a very special gift!
Each child created a watercolor painting and then the paintings were bound into a book by grade, to create 5 books that were then mailed to Ms. Rena. What a beautiful and thoughtful gesture! Thank you to Irena Scope for this idea, Aline Nascimento for coordinating it, for the Faculty for facilitating this with the children, and for the children themselves for creating such lovely art for Ms. Rena! We hope it will uplift her spirits!
