Ms. Abbade organized a Math Market for the 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Classes where students brought home made goods to “sell” at school. Students had to weigh and portion out their servings, and then price them. Then they all received paper money and were able to use it to “purchase” their goods. This was a fun and tasty way to apply math as well as practice using weight measurements and dollar amounts!
